Tamron AF70-300mm F/4-5.6 Di LD Macro Lens with hood + Hoya 62mm UV Haze Protector Glass Filter + CapKeeper + Precision Design 6-Piece Deluxe Cleaning Kit - for Canon EOS Digital & Film SLR Cameras including Canon Digital Rebel XT, XTi, EOS 20D, 30D & 40D

Kit includes: 1) Tamron 70-300mm Lens; 2) Precision Design 6-Piece Cleaning Kit; 3) CapKeeper; 4) Hoya 62mm UV Protector Filter. 70-300mm includes: Caps; Hood; Instructions; Tamron USA Warranty. The Tamron 70-300mm is a compact, lightweight, ultra-tele zoom that is ideal for taking pictures at a distance particularly when the subject is difficult to approach such as in nature and wildlife photography as well as at sporting and theatrical events. It also enables you to isolate your subject from the background for eye-catching, dramatic portraits. This versatile lens has macro capability with a magnification of 1:2 for incredible half-lifesize close-ups of small objects such as flowers, insects, jewelry, and coins. Tamron's Di (Digitally Integrated) design uses improved multi-coatings optimized for both Digital and Film SLR Cameras. This lens also incorporates LD (Low Dispersion) glass to correct chromatic aberration, resulting in clear, sharp, and beautifully vivid images. Founded over 50 years ago, Tamron has proven over time and after numerous awards that you can trust their lenses to witness and faithfully record your cherished memories and the smiles of those most dear to you. Hoya UV Filters are made of highest quality optical glass and can be left on your lenses at all times even when taking pictures. A filter prevents environmental damage to the delicate surface coatings of the lens; shields the front element from accidental scuffs and scratches; and in the event of impact, absorbs most of the force which helps minimize damage to the lens's filter threads. A UV filter enhances image quality by reducing the adverse effects of ultraviolet light which can cause outdoor photographs to appear hazy and indistinct. This Tamron Lens-plus-necessities Kit will help give you the amazing travel photos, portraits, sports, nature and wildlife photographs you've always wanted.
Customer Review: Excellent value
This lens produces some superb images, for a fraction of the cost of the Canon version. The macro mode is an added bonus that I honestly wasn't expecting to use, but have ended up using excessively for awhile. The largest drawback is the macro range - you can't use it under 180mm, which isn't a deal breaker for some I'm sure, but leaves me still needing a shorter range macro lens. I purchased this as part of a bundle; included was a cleaning kit, which contained a nice microfiber cloth, and a pretty nice brush, and a great and durable blower. I'm not so sure about the cleaning solution yet, as I haven't yet had a chance to test it. The filter in my bundle was also a welcome addition, though it's important to note that it's the cheaper variety of Hoya filters, not their nicer double coated ones. I'm using this lens on a Canon Rebel XSi, often with a Tamron 2x teleconverter. Absolutely love it.
Customer Review: Fantastic value
This lens is fantastic, and so much more affordable that the Canon equivalent. You will not regret getting it. The macro shots are amazing.
